Councilman Bell called the meeting to order at 4:01 p.m.

Motion to approve the minutes was made by Councilman Smiley, seconded by Councilman Tackett, and approved unanimously.

Chief Miller gave an update on the current hiring process and the Emergency Communications Division Newsletter.

Introduced by Mr. Bell and Ms. Hartley-Nagle to appropriate $194,102 of federal funds for victim assistance program.

Colonel Bond gave an update on the 2020 Year End Report for NCCPD.

Motion was made to go into Executive Session to discuss confidential information related to security.

Councilman Cartier expressed concern about the stress on the Volunteer Fire Service due to COVID.

Motion was made by Councilman Smiley, seconded by Councilwoman Kilpatrick, and unanimously carried to adjourn the meeting.
