Temporary PIN numbers can be issued to contractors. ~Camping: Discussions with City Attorney summarized. Popularity of airport camping described. Wording for rules changes discussed. Need to obtain other airport’s camping regulations discussed. Locations for camping and facilities discussed. Valley Aero Club willing to assist with facilities. Staff Comments-Airport Status: ~MDOT Inspection and Licensing: MDOT found significant improvements during most recent inspection, provisional license status lifted, awaiting official certificates. ~Courtesy Car Usage: 110 times in 2025. Impact and importance to Airport discussed. ~Fuel Sales: 767 sales, 17,937 gallons sold. $88,706.00 Sales. Comparative prices discussed. ~171 aircraft owners signed the Airport Register. Likelihood that this understates total usage discussed. ~42 aircraft currently based at Clements. ~Hunting: Current deer control efforts described. Previous hunts discussed. Use of “scare shells” discussed. Locations of deer meat rendering facilities discussed. Potential availability of Michigan State Police Emergency Services (SWAT) Team discussed. ~Project Updates: Progress on pump station project described. Taxiway project: request for funding due in March. Terminal Building window replacement: $316,000 potentially available. Request to be included in ACIP requests in August/September.
