A. Motion to approve the following personnel matters:
Accept the resignation of Camryn Davis as full-time Correctional Sergeant effective June 26, 2025.
Remove Kameron Dearmas as part-time Correctional Officer effective July 7, 2025.
Hire Dustin Holmes as a full-time Correctional Officer effective July 7, 2025.
Hire Dillon Ladner as a full-time Correctional Officer effective July 7, 2025.
Hire William Stevens as a full-time Correctional Officer effective July 7, 2025.

7) Circuit Clerk:
A. Motion to acknowledge the Official Bond and Oath of David Rimkus, Deputy Circuit Clerk, for the
term commencing on July 14, 2025 and ending on July 14, 2026.
B. Motion to acknowledge the resignation of David Rimkus as Deputy Circuit Clerk effective July 3,
2025.
C. Motion to acknowledge Order Setting Salary/Compensation for Court Reporter (Rhonda B. Wetzel)
dated June 23, 2025.
8) County Administrator:
A. Motion to approve the payment of $2,758.65 to the Capital One Spark Business Card for the
payment due July 20, 2025. All receipts for transactions are attached.
B. Motion to ratify check to Hancock Whitney Bank for the Mississippi Development Bank Special
Obligation Bond in the amout of $925,485.94.
C. Motion to acknowledge the proof of publication for the 2023 Audit.
D. Motion to authorize the Board President to sign the Contract with Clymer Contracting, LLC for the
construction of the Pearl River County Tech Park Buildings A' & B'.
E. Motion to approve memo sent to departments for 2025-2026 Budget Request.
9) County Engineer:
A. Motion to approve payment of contractor application for payment No. 1 associated with the Bill
Watson Ballpark Project.
B. Motion to approve payment to the contractor for pay app no. 2 for the Industrial Park Grade Drain
and Base Project.
10) Emergency Services:
A. Motion to approve partial payment to Cowboy Industries Inc. for materials and labor to replace the
roof at Steephollow Fire Station 44 in the amount of $30,000.00.
11) Inventory/Safety:
A. Motion to remove the following inventory items:

12) Planning & Development:
A. Motion to approve the hiring of Ashley McLaurin effective July 21, 2025, for a position within the

construction projects in unincorporated Pearl River County, effective immediately.
13) Tax Assessor/Collector:
A. Motion to accept quotes and allow the purchase of 12 computers and 3-500 GB SSD for updated
computers required by the MS Department of Revenue.
B. Motion to approve reductions of personal and real property.
C. Motion to accept the Assessor's Affidavit to the Land Roll 2025 tax year.
D. Motion to accept Assessor's Recapitulation 2025 tax year.
E. Motion to accept Assessed Valuation of Motor Vehicles and Mobile Homes 2025 tax year.
F. Motion to accept Assessor's Affidavit to the Personal Property Roll 2025 tax year.

14) Consent Agenda Items:
A. Motion to authorize the Election Commissioners' pay increase from $165.00 to $200.00 for election
day, as approved by Senate Bill 2657.
B. Motion to approve the Fifteenth Circuit Court District, Court Reporters, AOC Staff Attorney and
Court Administrator increase in base salary with an effective date of the court orders and authorize
the President to sign necessary paperwork.
15) Grants Administration:
A. Motion to apply and accept the Keep America Beautiful Cigarette Litter Prevention & Recycling
Grant in the amount of $10,000.00.
B. Motion to apply for the Visit MS Tourism Grant FY26.
16) Travel:
A. Motion to approve Susie Cavanaugh travel and meals to Justice For All Youth Symposium August
6-8th, 2025, Imperial Palace resort, Biloxi, Mississippi.
B. Motion to approve the training and reimbursement of costs for food and lodging for John Seal to
attend the Child Abduction Response and Investigation Class on July 21 - 22, 2025, in Foley,
AL. Seal will travel in his County assigned unit.

C. Motion to acknowledge the submitted proposals for the Poplarville-Pearl River County Airport
Advancement Plan.
D. Motion to execute the attached resolution setting a public hearing in connection with proposed Tax
Increment Financing Plan for the Price’s Creek Investments Project and approving the publication
of a legal notice in The Picayune Item in connection with said plan.
E. Motion to execute the attached resolution setting a public hearing in connection with the proposed
Tax Increment Financing Plan for the Exit 10 Project and approving the publication of a legal notice
in The Picayune Item in connection with said plan.
F. Motion to execute the attached resolution setting a public hearing in connection with proposed Tax
Increment Financing Plan for the Highland Parkway and Frontage Road Project and approving the
publication of a legal notice in The Picayune Item in connection with said plan.
G. Motion to approve and commit matching funds for the Pearl River County grant applications for the
Speculative Building Project and the Multipurpose and Enhanced Emergency Operations Center
