Meeting minutes for the 4th of March 2026 Waukee Public Art Advisory Commission
The March 4, 2026, meeting was called to order at 5:31pm.
Roll Call: The following commissioners were present- Abbey Christensen, Wes Mallgren, Amy Schrodt,
Katheryn Murray, Jon Eichorn, Kenny Thorson, and Megan Giudicessi
Agenda Approval: Motion by Commissioner Murray to approve the agenda for the March 4, 2026,
Waukee Public Art and Advisory Commission meeting, Seconded by Commissioner Thorson Ayes:
Mallgren, Giudicessi, Eichorn, Thorson, Christensen. Nays: None. Motion Carried.
Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes:
Motion by Commissioner Murray to approve the meeting minutes from January 7, 2026, meeting.
Seconded by Schrodt. Ayes: Giudicessi, Mallgren, Christensen, Eichorn, Thorson. Nays: None. Motion

Confluence Parks & Rec Plan

 Have been hosting a series of key stakeholder meetings as they work on creating the next 5–10-
year plan for Waukee Parks & Rec.
 Interactive website for community will go live this spring with ability to click and comment on
areas of the city they’d like to see included.

Alice’s Road Roundabout
 RFQ has been drafted by City of Clive with hopes to release later this spring.
 Goal for installation is late fall 2026
 Will be located at intersection of Boston Parkway and Alice’s Road
Spring Crest Park
