SW Broad Street
b. MAPP-02-24: Written Decision for Murray Hill Townhomes Major Subdivision Preliminary Plat
Staff has prepared a draft Written Decision for MAPP-02-25, Murray Hill Townhomes. The Preliminary Plat was approved by
Council on August 12.
c. SU-01-25: Written Decision for Tyler's Ridge Lot 9
Staff has prepared a draft Written Decision for application SU-01-25, Tyler's Ridge Lot 9. The application was approved by
Council on August 12.
5. PUBLIC HEARINGS - LEGISLATIVE
a. OA-02-25 Proposed Amendments to the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO)
The Planning Department proposes multiple UDO amendments related to sign regulations. The Engineering Department has
also prepared amendments to Appendix B of the UDO. This public hearing was opened on August 12 and continued to
August 26.
6. COUNCIL UPDATES AND DISCUSSION
a. Capital Projects Update
Staff will share current updates on several active capital projects.
b. Post Chantal Action Report
Staff has evaluated the Town's response during and after Tropical Storm Chantal and prepared an action report. Staff will
provide a high-level overview of the report and answer any questions.
c. Water Discussion
Staff will provide an update regarding recent discussions with Moore County and solicit feedback from the Council regarding
continued interest.
d. Planning Department Update
Planning staff will briefly update the Town Council on agenda items coming in September. Staff will also follow up on prior
discussions at the August 12, 2025 Regular Meeting about the Planning Department's agency referrals to the U.S. Fish &
Wildlife Service and update the Town Council on the status of Phase 2 of 2040 Comprehensive Plan Implementation.
7. COUNCIL ROUNDTABLE
8. CLOSED SESSION
a. Council will hold a closed session as authorized in N.C.G.S. §143-318.11(a)(5) to discuss real estate.
