WS1 – Discussion: Calendar for Fiscal Year 2026-27 Budget Process
• New York State Village Law, Article 5 outlines various requirements for the village
budgeting process. The process began on December 12, 2025, with budget
worksheets distributed to department heads, and will end on April 21, 2026, when
the Board of Trustees adopts the 2026-27 budget.
WS2 – Discussion: Social Media Policy
• The Village of Pelham Social Media Policy outlines expectations for employees,
volunteers, and Board members when using social media, whether on or off duty.
It prohibits posting confidential, defamatory, discriminatory, or otherwise
inappropriate content; requires disclosure of affiliation when discussing Village
matters; and forbids implying Village endorsement without prior approval. Official
Village accounts must be managed by designated personnel, and violations of the
policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

A motion was made by Village Trustee Howell, seconded by Village Trustee Otondi,
voted unanimously at 7:35 PM to adjourn into executive session to discuss the medical
absence of an employee and collective bargaining for the Police.
