A meeting of the Regional Transportation Commission was held on January 15th, at
8:00 a.m. at the White Pine County Library.
THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS WERE PRESENT:

Wayne Cameron called the meeting to order at 8:02 a.m. The meeting began with the Pledge of
Allegiance and roll call.
*COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC (3-Minute Time Limit): - There was no public comment.
*POSSIBLE APPROVAL: ELCECT A NEW CHAIRMAN FOR THE RTC BOARD:- Tabled
*DISCUSSION/ACTION/POSSIBLE APPROVAL: COUNTY TENATIVE FY27 ELY BUSS
PUBLIC TRANSIT BUDGET:- Desi requested the same amount as FY26.
Janet VanCamp motioned to approve the budget at $30,000.00 for the Ely Bus, and Steve Baer seconded
the motion. The motion carried.
*DISCUSSION/ACTION/POSSIBLE APPROVAL: - COUNTY TENTATIVE FY2027 RTC
BUDGET: - Kathy Workman explained to the board that the City has not been presented numbers, Kathy
asked to table the meeting until February.

TRANSIT BUDGET: - Tabled, but Mike Sturegon did explain to the board that he would like to
purchase a new grader, not as an RTC shared piece of equipment. Janette Trask asked if the city could
have a meeting before anything was set in stone.
*APPROVAL OF RTC MINUTES (9.18.25) – Janet VanCamp motioned to approve the minutes, Steve
Baer seconded the motion. The motion carried.
*COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC (3-Minute Time Limit):- There was no public comment.
Janet VanCamp motioned to adjourn the meeting; Wayne Cameron seconded the motion. The
motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 am.
