Mr. President, I'm happy to report that the Grand Chamber of BioHare was a recipient of a DECA grant, which is going to help provide various opportunities for our local businesses throughout Leiden Township. We're hoping that it can help put funds into the hands of those businesses that need it to help improve their facilities, as well as helping promote their local businesses. Ordinarily, first installment tax bills would be out this week, and they would be due March 1st. Legislators were able to file for an extension, and we're given that extension. PRESIDENT, THE BOARD WILL BE ASKED TO APPROVE THE EXECUTION OF A GRANT AGREEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $50,000 TO FUND THE SECOND PHASE OF THE LEAD SERVICE LINE INVENTORY Board will also be asked to authorize the submission of a loan application to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency for the next phase of funding through the Illinois Public Water Supply Loan Program. Board will consider a proposal from Christopher Burke Engineering for design and construction engineering services related to the Villages 2026 MFT. Street resurfacing and alley reconstruction project, the specific streets and alleys were selected based on condition. The total project length is estimated to be 1.75 miles and the total not to exceed fee is $349,500. Board will be asked to approve a proposal from Kroll LLC to update the village's fixed asset inventory. This includes the necessary research and report of the insurable value of certain village property The fee is $8,800. The board will consider a proposal from WGN Radio to advertise the Taste of Elmwood Park from July 21st through August 9th. This campaign includes a variety of commercials throughout the day and evening during this period. It is the same campaign that we ran last year. The total cost is $4,550. The village received five bids on January 13th to construct the County Circle Pickleball Courts. Christopher Burke Christopher Burke Engineering reviewed those bids and recommends award to the low bidder Hacienda Landscaping in the amount of $860,376.70. We expect the project to be substantially complete by Memorial Day so that there will be no conflict with the opening of the pool. The village received an ASLI grant in the amount of $376,250 to assist with the cost of this project. On January 14th, the village was awarded another OSLOG grant from the state to renovate and rebuild Kitty Corral. The grant amount is $600,000. The preliminary projected cost of the project is $1.3 million. With that, Kitty Corral will get new equipment, soft playground surface, swings, a gazebo, and a splash pad. We await detailed information and instructions regarding implementation of the project. As Mr. Durkin mentioned, the board will consider two agreements related to the design and construction of the new village hall. at 7315 West Grand Avenue. The first agreement is a standard form of agreement between the Village as owner and Wright-Harima Architects Ltd. The agreement details the fundamental features of the relationship between the Village and WHA, including their respective responsibilities, the scope of services, the cost of the work, and other terms, conditions, and miscellaneous provisions. Another agreement is between the Village and FH Passion, who will serve as the construction manager on the project. The contract details the terms and conditions for construction management of this project. Village is agreeing to a 6% fee to FH Passion for this project. This is the entirety of Passion's profit and overhead. All other costs are priced open book and will be reviewed as the project moves forward. Passions pre-construction costs are $32,180. We also have specific costs for interior demolition and electric demolition. Slate Demolition LLC will perform the interior demolition at a cost of $45,800, while SRC Electrical LLC will do the electrical demolition at a cost of $28,695. Thank you, Mr. Volpe.
