The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Bruner at 10:05 am.

Motion to accept the agenda made by Kim Mickelsen, seconded by Megan Pinson, all
approved
CONSENT ITEMS
January 27, 2026 Minutes – Megan Pinson motioned to approve, Kim Mickelsen seconded,
all approved
OLD BUSINESS
a. By-laws - Discuss and Vote On
Discussion led by Bill Bruner, no objections to the Bylaws. Public vote as follows:
Kim Mickelsen motioned to approve By-laws, Megan Pinson seconded, all approved.
b. Recap meeting with Audry Snyder Welsh - SBDC
Discussion led by Bill Bruner, who met with Audry Snyder Welsh in Fairplay and provided
TAB members with a recap of available resources. Kim Mickelsen emphasized the
importance of ensuring the Chamber has access to those resources.
NEW BUSINESS
a. Application for Andi Ward Weidner
Discussion led by Bill Bruner, there were no objections to recommending Andi for a board
position. Public Vote as follows:
Kim Mickelsen motioned to approve recommending Andi for a Tourism Advisory Board
position, Megan Pinson seconded, all approved.

b. What’s Next
Discussion led by Bill Bruner, Megan Pinson, and Kim Mickelsen. Bill will draft the budget
proposal for submission to the BOCC to initiate the Visitor Center expenditures. The status
of the Lukacs contract was discussed, and Megan Pinson inquired about the strategic
master plan.

DIRECTOR COMMENTS
Discussion led by Bill Bruner, Megan Pinson, and Kim Mickelsen on the Guffey Heritage Day
event request, noting that the budget for 2026 has already been established.
