ROLL CALL Present: Bancroft, Bottecelli, Lockwood, Osborn, Sage, Suchowski. Absent: McDermott (excused). Others Present: Lynn Markland, City Manager; Michael Hart, Assistant City Manager; Jennifer Kienast, City Clerk; Tessa Stickel, Communications Coordinator. PUBLIC COMMENTS – None. APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF OF POLICE A motion was made by Lockwood and supported by Bottecelli to appoint Jason Slater as Chief of Police. YEAS: Bancroft, Bottecelli, Lockwood, Osborn, Sage, Suchowski. NAYS: None. ABSENT: McDermott. Motion carried by roll call vote. Mayor Osborn administered the Oath of Office to Chief Slater. FY 2025 AUDIT PRESENTATION Yeo & Yeo presented the FY 2025 Audit. BSB ELEVATE A motion was made by Sage and supported by Suchowski to approve the five-year agreement and move to the BSB Elevate platform. YEAS: Bottecelli, Lockwood, Osborn, Sage, Suchowski, Bancroft. NAYS: None. ABSENT: McDermott. Motion carried by roll call vote. COUNCIL COMMENTS All Council members wished everyone a happy new year and congratulated Chief Slater. Lockwood reported on Arts & Culture, Fenton celebrates America 250, and Beautification Commission. Bottecelli reported on the E-Bike Committee and Restaurant Week. Bancroft reported on Library Board, Metro Alliance, and MTA Trolley. Markland reported on America 250th and deer culling. CALL TO THE AUDIENCE Lena Stamos, Candidate for 67-4 Judge introduced herself. Damien Siwik and Michael Hart spoke.
