2) Claims Docket:
A. Consider approving Claims Docket for August 20, 2025.
3) Sheriff:
A. Motion to approve the following personnel matters.
Hire Tabitha Brewer as a full-time Correctional Officer effective August 20, 2025.
Move Morgan Rollins from full-time Transport Officer to full-time Correctional Sergeant effective
August 28, 2025.
Move Donnie Saucier from part-time to full-time Narcotics Major effective September 1, 2025.
Accept the resignation of Bruce Boutwell as Litter Crew Officer effective August 11, 2025.
Accept the resignation of Isiah Hicks as full-time Correctional Officer effective August 10, 2025.
Accept the resignation of Dustin Holmes as full-time Correctional Officer effective August 7, 2025.
Accept the resignation of Randall Simpson as full-time Correctional Sergeant effective August 10,
2025.
B. Motion to accept the following Declaration of Forfeiture:

Currency $1,044.00 ($835.20 to PRCSO Drug Forfeiture Fund and $208.80 to 15th Circuit Court

4) Central Dispatch:

5) Chancery Clerk:
A. Motion to allow Objection to Homestead Chargeback for 2025 for Ricky Donahue-Previously
Disallowed in Error in Meeting of July 7, 2025.
6) Circuit Clerk:
A. Motion to acknowledge Order Adjusting Salary for Court Administrator, Tonya Tynes, dated
August 4, 2025.
B. Motion to acknowledge Order Reclassifying AOC Staff Attorney Position, Scarlett Jones, dated
August 4, 2025.
C. Motion to acknowledge the Nunc Pro Tunc Order Appointing Youth Court Administrator, Mona G.
Martin, dated August 8, 2025, nunc pro tunc to March 11, 2024.
D. Motion to approve the Fifteenth Circuit Court District, Tim Evans, AOC Staff Attorney, and Crystal
Browning, Court Administrator increase in base salary with an effective date of October 1, 2025,
and authorize the President to sign the necessary paperwork.

7) County Administrator:
A. Motion to deny Tax Objections to the 2025 Tax Assessment Rolls on the recommendation of Tax
Assessor/Collector.
B. Motion to accept, approve and make final the 2025 Real and Personal Property Assessment Rolls.
8) County Engineer:
A. Motion to authorize contractor pay request no. 4 in the amount of $115,600.50 to J.L. McCool
Contractors INC. associated with HSIP-0055-00(043)LPA Safety Project.
9) Emergency Services:
A. Motion to approve the Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP) and execute
promulgation statement.
10) Tax Assessor/Collector:
A. Motion to approve voiding disallowed homestead escapes to place judgments on prior owners.
B. Motion to approve Personal Property reduction.
C. Motion to approve answers from the Tax Assessor/Collector's office concerning objections to the
2025 tax rolls.
11) Grants Administration:
A. Motion to apply for the Mississippi Outdoor Stewardship Trust Fund grant and have the Board
President sign all related documents.
B. Motion for the Board to authorize the Closeout of the FY25 MOHS Occupant Protection Grant and
sign all close-out documents.
C. Motion for the Board to authorize the Closeout of the FY23 JAG Grant and sign all closeout forms.
D. Motion to accept the Mississippi Office of Highway Safety FY26 Occupant Protection Grant Award
and have the board sign all required forms.
E. Motion to accept the Mississippi Office of Highway Safety FY26 Impaired Driving (DUI) grant
award and have the board sign all required forms.
12) Travel:
A. Motion to approve Tania Lucas and Sean Speights to attend the 5-Day Homicide and Death
Investigation class September 15–19, 2025 being held in Lafayette, LA. Cost of class if $550.00
each for a total of $1,100.00 to be mailed as invoiced. Hotel cost is $550.00 each room for a total of
$1,100.00 to be mailed at the completion of the Board Meeting to the address on the W-9.
B. Motion to approve John Herring to attend Field Training Officer class at Southern Regional Public
Safety Institute (Camp Shelby) October 14–16, 2025. Cost is $350.00 to be mailed as shown on
Invoice. Herring will travel in his county-assigned unit.
13) Monthly Reports:
A. Motion to spread upon the minutes the AAA Ambulance Service Report for June 2025.
B. Motion to spread upon the minutes the Waste Management 2nd Quarter 2025 host fee check in the
amount of $11,582.03 including an additional amount of $213.40 from the 1st Quarter 2025
correction.
C. Motion to spread upon the minutes Building Permits Report for July 2025. The Department of
Planning & Development Building Division issued 234 permits for the period of July1-30, 2025.
The 234 permits generated $33,246.00 in revenue forth County.
D. Motion to spread upon the minutes the Justice Court Monthly Report for July 2025.
E. Motion to spread upon the minutes meals served and Summit Invoices for July 2025 at the Lenoir

Rowell Criminal Justice Center.
F. Motion to spread upon the Minutes the Fire Marshal Activity Report for July 2025.
G. Motion to spread upon the minutes the Road Department monthly report for July 2025.

C. Motion to acknowledge and accept the resignation of Christy Goss as Project Manager Effective
Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
D. Motion to authorize the Professional Services Agreement with Southern Mississippi Planning and
Development District for the Poplarville/Pearl River County Airport Advancement Plan and to
Authorize the President to Sign All Related Documents.
E. Pearl River Community College's First Home Football Game - 20th Anniversary of Hurricane
Katrina and Recognizing the Pearl River County First Responders and Elected Officials with their
Response Efforts
