Hire Javier Bolton as full-time Correctional Officer effective May 5, 2025. Move Morgan Rollins from Uncertified Patrol to Transport Officer effective May 1, 2025. Hire John Herring as full-time Patrol Deputy effective May 5, 2025. 5) Coroner: A. Motion to consider Mr. Bordenave as a pauper case. 6) County Administrator: A. Motion to authorize the President to execute the reimbursement request for the Pearl River County Exit 10 Sewer Extension Project No. 430-2-CW-5.5 in the amount of $277,870.77. 7) County Engineer: A. Motion to authorize payment of $5,750.00 for the purchase of LSBP-55(40) S. Valley Rd. Parcel No. 2 ROW Easement. (Amount to be fully reimbursed by MDOT-OSARC-LSBP grant) B. Motion to accept the best quote for splash pad equipment at McNeill Walking Track and Park. Due to the available water pressure at the park, the best quote would be Water Odyssey. Motion to approve a duplicate warrant to Lane Price in the amount of $855.05 for motor vehicle registration over payment. The original check was numbered 6669 and issued on 02/28/2025. 10) Consent Agenda Items: A. Motion to acknowledge receipt of funds in the amount of $13,720.00 for equipment sent to Wolf River Auction in April 2025. B. Motion to approve hiring Michael Paul Woods as truck driver at the central maintenance barn at the assigned rate of pay. Effective start date to be May 6th, 2025. B. Motion to approve updates to the road paving list and paving order of completion for 2025. 13) Economic Development: A. Motion to accept proposals for the Poplarville/Pearl River County Airport Advancement Plan RFP - 1:00 PM B. Motion to approve and authorize the President to execute the first request for cash for GCRF 23-62 for the Pearl River County Technology Park Project. C. Motion to authorize and execute the resolution to apply and commit matching funds to the Mississippi Development Authority for the Mississippi Site Development Grant - Select Sites Program for the Pearl River County Industrial Park - Water Tower, Utility Infrastructure and Site Improvements Project.
