1) Board Minutes:
A. Consider approving Board Minutes for April 23, 2025.
2) Claims Docket:
A. Consider approving Claims Docket for May 5, 2025.
3) Public Presentations:
A. Special recognition of Lacie Johnson, Hannah Dykes, Brittany Spiers, and Allison McCormick for
their heroic efforts.
4) Sheriff:
A. Motion to approve the following personnel changes.
Hire Javier Bolton as full-time Correctional Officer effective May 5, 2025.
Move Morgan Rollins from Uncertified Patrol to Transport Officer effective May 1, 2025.
Hire John Herring as full-time Patrol Deputy effective May 5, 2025.
5) Coroner:
A. Motion to consider Mr. Bordenave as a pauper case.
6) County Administrator:
A. Motion to authorize the President to execute the reimbursement request for the Pearl River County
Exit 10 Sewer Extension Project No. 430-2-CW-5.5 in the amount of $277,870.77.
7) County Engineer:
A. Motion to authorize payment of $5,750.00 for the purchase of LSBP-55(40) S. Valley Rd. Parcel
No. 2 ROW Easement. (Amount to be fully reimbursed by MDOT-OSARC-LSBP grant)
B. Motion to accept the best quote for splash pad equipment at McNeill Walking Track and Park. Due
to the available water pressure at the park, the best quote would be Water Odyssey.

C. Motion to authorize County Engineer to advertise for the Pearl River County Technology Park
Phase 1 Utilities.
8) E-911 Addressing:
A. Motion to approve the naming of a private road - Satsuma RD
9) Tax Assessor/Collector:
A. Motion to approve a duplicate warrant to Lane Price in the amount of $855.05 for motor vehicle
registration over payment. The original check was numbered 6669 and issued on 02/28/2025.
10) Consent Agenda Items:
A. Motion to acknowledge receipt of funds in the amount of $13,720.00 for equipment sent to Wolf
River Auction in April 2025.
B. Motion to approve the payment of $385.14 to the Capital One Spark Business Card for the payment
due May 20, 2025. All receipts for transactions are attached.

C. Motion to approve Christy M. Smith as a part-time employee at the Raine Street Congregate Meal
Center.
11) Travel:
A. Motion to approve travel for Amanda Sevin, Brittany Smith, Briteney Ray, and Natalie Wilkerson to
attend the MS 911 Coordinators and MS NENA conference on August 11-August 14, 2025, in
Biloxi, MS
B. Motion to approve the following training and reimbursement of costs associated with travel.

FBI Firearms Instructor School
May 5 - 9, 2025
Academy will Invoice for room and meals once class is completed.
C. Motion to Approve Travel for Brittany Twiner to the MS Justice Court Clerks Continuing Education
Conference May 14-16 in Ridgeland, MS
D. Motion to approve travel for Todd Douglas, Rhonda Johnson, and Danny Joe Slade to the MCA
Convention & Training Seminar June 8-13 in Gulfport, MS.
E. Motion to approve travel for Cameron Morris and Madison Gay to attend 40 hour Basic 911 Officer
Course June 23-27 in Long Beach, MS Police Department.
F. Motion to amend dates already approved from March 10-14, 2025 to May 19-23, 2025 for Kerry
Cortez and Lauren Couvillion for Collector of Revenue 1 due to rescheduling.
12) Road Department:
A. Motion to approve hiring Michael Paul Woods as truck driver at the central maintenance barn at the
assigned rate of pay. Effective start date to be May 6th, 2025.
B. Motion to approve updates to the road paving list and paving order of completion for 2025.
13) Economic Development:
A. Motion to accept proposals for the Poplarville/Pearl River County Airport Advancement Plan RFP -
1:00 PM
B. Motion to approve and authorize the President to execute the first request for cash for GCRF 23-62
for the Pearl River County Technology Park Project.
C. Motion to authorize and execute the resolution to apply and commit matching funds to the
Mississippi Development Authority for the Mississippi Site Development Grant - Select Sites
Program for the Pearl River County Industrial Park - Water Tower, Utility Infrastructure and Site
Improvements Project.
D. Motion to approve and authorize the President to execute the first request for cash for GCRF 23-54
for the Pearl River County Industrial Park Project.
E. Motion to approve and authorize the President to execute the first reimbursement for SDG-S-012 for
the Pearl River County Industrial Park.
