Lancaster Port Authority
Minutes of July 27, 2021 Meeting
The special meeting of the Lancaster Port Authority (LPA) was held in person on Tuesday, July 27, 2021.
Vice-Chairman Rick Wilkins called the meeting to order at 1:07 PM. LPA members attending in person
were Rick Wilkins, Dean DeRolph, Ron Burris and Laura Tussing. Port Authority and City staff in the
meeting were Mike Pettit, David Scheffler, Randall Ullom, Stephanie Hall and Robert Wolfinger. Sallie
Voyles was a guest.
Dean DeRolph made a motion to excuse Zack DeLeon from the meeting, Laura Tussing seconded; the
motion passed 4-0.
Minutes:
Laura Tussing made a motion to approve the minutes of the July 13 LPA Board meeting, Dean DeRolph
seconded; the motion passed 4-0.

Action Items:
Dean DeRolph made a motion authorizing Mike Pettit to apply for an Ohio 629 grant for road
infrastructure improvements, Ron Burris seconded; LPA Resolution 2021-25 passed 4-0.
Ron Burris made a motion to apply for and accept a $10,000 AEP grant to be utilized for pre-certification
requirements for several parcels in the Rock Mill Industrial Park, Laura Tussing seconded; LPA
Resolution 2021-26 passed 4-0.
Ron Burris made a motion to enter into an agreement with Krile Communications for marketing services
and the creation of an LPA website, Dean DeRolph seconded; LPA Resolution 2021-27 passed 4-0.

Sallie Voyles facilitated finalization of the executive director job description and job posting

will be available shortly for review and discussion at the next meeting.
Being no further business, Dean DeRolph made a motion to adjourn, Laura Tussing seconded; the
meeting adjourned at 3:06 PM.
