The Board of Trustees of Sugarcreek Township, Greene County, Ohio, met in Work
Session on May 4, 2015, at 5:30 p.m., at 2090 Ferry Road, Sugarcreek Township, Ohio
45305.
1. Mrs. Daugherty called the meeting to order at 5:27 pm.
2. Mr. Hodson called the roll with Board Members Nadine Daugherty, Mike Pittman and Scott
Bryant being present. Mr. Tiffany, Township Administrator, and Fiscal Officer Ted Hodson
were also present.
Mr. Hodson told the Board there official budget for 2015 is in excess of 10 million, which
changes the State pay scale for Township Elected Officials. After providing them the amount
they were eligible for, Mrs. Daugherty said she would take whatever she was eligible for, Mr.
Bryant said he would only take an additional one hundred a month and Mr. Pittman said he
would let me know.
Mr. Bryant said he wanted to talk about Opengov before executive session. Mr. Tiffany said
the Ohio open check book showed expenditures only. He said it cost $1500.00 and is paid for
by the State. Mr. Tiffany said Opengov provided more comprehensive information and cost
an additional $4000.00. Mr. Bryant said he was on Opengov looking at Cleveland and said it
kept information at higher levels. He said it did some good stuff but he had a problem with
the $4,000.00. Mr. Tiffany said he would see if the cost could be negotiated.
Mrs. Daugherty moved to adjourn to Executive Session at 5:53 pm to discuss personnel and
litigation. Mr. Pittman seconded. Roll was called with the vote being as follows:
Mr. Pittman – Yes
Mrs. Daugherty – Yes
Mr. Bryant - Yes
The meeting resumed at 6:56 pm with no action taken and promptly adjourned.
