MINUTES
ROLL CALL:
PRESENT: Commissioners Maurad, Ramirez, Co-Chair Matturo, and Chair Pauletti
ABSENT: None
ALSO PRESENT: Arthur Dusenbury, Traffic Sergeant, Anthony Cerreto, Village Attorney, and Sara
Summa, Secretary
The meeting was called to order by Chair Pauletti at 6:35pm.
AGENDA ITEMS:
1. Adoption of Minutes: September 20, 2023 October 18, 2023
On a Motion by Commissioner Maurad, Seconded by Commissioner Matturo, the minutes of
September 20, 2023 and October 18, 2023 were adopted.
2. Follow up: Betsy Brown Circle
Following a brief update by the Chair, and discussion by the Commission, the Commission voted
to recommend this issue to the Board of Trustees for a Traffic Study.
Mr. Scala was present and was given an opportunity to speak.
In the interim, the Commission voted to extend the no parking restriction further down the road
out to Betsy Brown Road.
On a Motion by Commissioner Matturo, Seconded by Commissioner Ramirez.
3. Follow up: Indian Road – Review of Traffic Study
After a brief discussion, the Commission is in favor of option #3 that was included in the AKRF
report.
4. Request: Loading Zone on Abendroth Place
After a brief discussion, the Commission voted to deny the request for a loading zone, but
referred to the Village Code that specifies 2 hour limited parking on Abendroth Place. The
proper signage is not posted. The Traffic Sergeant will communicate with DPW to get signage
posted. This may deter the commuters and all-day parkers from parking their car for extended
periods of time.

5. Follow up: 58 Townsend Street
After a brief discussion, the Commission voted to take no action on this request.
6. Follow up: Brower Place
On a Motion by Commissioner Maurad, Seconded by Commissioner Ramirez, the Commission
voted to send a recommendation to the Board of Trustees to implement a No Parking Any Time
restriction on the interior of the Traffic Island.
7. Discussion: JFK School Traffic Issues
Following an update provided by the Traffic Sergeant, the Commission voted to recommend the
proposal for No Parking on School Days 7:00am to 4:00pm, on the South Side of Olivia Street,
extending 250ft.
On a Motion by Commissioner Ramirez, seconded by Commissioner Matturo, the commission
voted to send this recommendation to the Board of Trustees.
On a Motion by Commissioner Maurad, Seconded by Commissioner Matturo, the meeting was
adjourned at 7:49 pm.
