NOTICE OF A REGULAR SESSION
OF THE HUTCHINSON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT
OF HUTCHINSON COUNTY, TEXAS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Commissioners’ Court of Hutchinson County, Texas
will be meeting on Monday, October 27, 2025 at 9:30 AM in the Hutchinson County Courtroom
located on the 1st floor of the County Courthouse in Stinnett, Texas.
AGENDA
1) Call to Order for Regular Session, Pledge of Allegiance and Invocation
2) Public comment; 5 Minutes per person (with signed participation form)
Consent Agenda
1) Consider and/or approve minutes from last Commissioners Court meeting
2) Consider and/or approve payment of bills
3) Consider and/or approve payroll
4) Consider and/or approve disposal of obsolete office equipment as requested by departments
5) Accept certificates of completion from elected or appointed officials
6) Consider and/or approve reports from elected/appointed officials required by statute LGC

Regular Agenda
1) Presentation from Mr. & Mrs. Kelly Watson in regard to maintaining an indoor firing range
on his property in Meadowlark
2) Consider and/or approve LIFI Grant Contract
3) Consider and/or approve the re-appointment of Sheriff J. Dale Butler to the TPC Board of
Trustees
4) Consider and/or approve contract with Ooma for Courthouse elevator emergency line
service.
5) Consider and/or approve the acceptance of the monthly Auditor's report for the month
ending September 30, 2025.
6) Consider and/or approve $1,000.00 bond for Shasta Kay Hughes, Administrative Assistant
Juvenile Probation
7) Consider and/or approve the acceptance of the total loss offer from Texas Association of
Counties for the Sheriff's department 2024 Ford Explorer, VIN #8839.

Friday, December 26th, 2025, and close the Museum to the public that day.

15) Consider and/or approve requests for use of clubrooms at Borger Library or Fritch
16) Consider and/or approve line item changes, transfers, and/or budget amendments

19) Discussion of County Judges’ and Commissioners’ Precincts daily operations
20) Consider and/or approve sale of struck off tax properties and tax deeds

In the event any of the foregoing items are not covered in the time allocated on the date of this
meeting, the Commissioners’ Court may order a continuance for the next day until the
discussion is completed on all items.
I, the undersigned County Judge of Hutchinson County do hereby certify that the above Notice
of Meeting of the Hutchinson County Commissioners’ Court is a true and correct copy of said
notice posted on the bulletin board in the hall and Courthouse door of the Hutchinson County
Courthouse in Stinnett, Texas at a place readily accessible to the public at all times and notice
remained so posted continuously for at least Three (3) business days preceding the scheduled
time of said meeting.

The County Commissioners’ Court of Hutchinson County reserves the right to adjourn into
executive session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters
listed above, as authorized by the Texas Government Code, to-wit:

Section 551.072 (deliberations about real property)
Section 551.073 (deliberations about gifts and donations)
Section 551.074 (personnel matters)
Section 551.076 (deliberations about security devices)
Section 551.087 (economic development)
Should any final action, decision or vote be required in the opinion of the Court with regard to
any matter considered in such executive session then the action required or final vote shall be at
either the open meeting covered by this notice or at a subsequent public meeting upon proper
notice thereof, as the Court shall determine.
