1. Call to Order.
The meeting was called to order at 4:02p.m. by Chairman Curt Mason.
2. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
3. Roll Call.
Members present at 4:03 p.m. were Chairman Curt Mason, Homer Township Fire
Protection District Chief Dave Bricker, Northwest Homer Fire Protection District
Chief Todd Fonfara, Will County Sheriff’s Department Lieutenant Pete Piazza,
Village Engineer Brett Westcott, EMA Director Ron Kus, Building Official Scott
Change and Public Works Director Brent Woods.
4. Approval of Amendments to the Agenda.
There were no amendments made to the agenda, Brent Woods made a motion to
approve the agenda and his motion was seconded Brett Westcott. This was
unanimously approved.
5. Minutes.
A motion to approve the minutes from the December 3, 2025 Public Services and
Safety Meeting was made by Brent Woods and seconded by Ron Kus. This was
unanimously approved.

b) Fire District Reports- No Report
c) Will County Sheriff Report- No Report
d) Emergency Management Agency Report – No Report
e) Village Engineer’s Report- No Report

g) Public Works Director- Director Woods will be onboarding with the Urban SDK
platform shortly.
8. Old Business.
a) A copy of the board approved Kratom Ordinance was delivered to tobacco stores.
9. New Business.
a) None
10. Adjournment.
Motion by Brent Woods and seconded by Dave Bricker. Motion carried. The
meeting adjourned at 4:08pm.
