WELCOMED & CALLED TO ORDER AT 09:30 AM BY JUDGE SYDNEY MURPHY. Public Comments Ellie Monteaux, representing the City of Livingston, spoke in favor of the proposed consolidated polling locations for the November Constitutional Amendment Election. New Business - Regular Agenda 1. DISCUSS AND CONSIDER ANY/ALL NECESSARY ACTION REGARDING POLLING LOCATIONS FOR THE NOVEMBER 4, 2025 ELECTION. Schelana Hock provided some background information. Prior to the Commissioners Court adopting countywide polling, there were typically 5 voting locations available for constitutional amendment elections, which generally have lower voter turnout than primary and general elections. Since adopting the countywide polling, the County Clerk is required to have at least one polling location per precinct. She is proposing two locations per precinct for this election, as listed in the attachment. She intends to present 12 polling locations for the primary and general elections in 2026.
