1. Call to Order
Chair Chiavacci welcomed everyone and called the meeting to order at 8:07 a.m.
Attendees: Mayor Becker, Councilmember Chiavacci and Councilmember Hoff.
Staff: City Clerk Barber, City Administrator Imhulse, and Chief Ledwell.
2. Approval of Minutes (December 6, 2022)
The Public Safety Committee Meeting Minutes from December 6, 2022 were approved
without objection.
3. Public Safety General Update
The committee had a general conversation and updates on items being addressed by the
Westminster Police Department regarding recruitment and retention of sworn officers. Chief
Ledwell also updated the committee on how the department has been addressing crime
issues.
4. Other Business
The Public Safety Committee’s next meeting was scheduled for Wednesday, February 8,
2023, at 9:45 a.m.
5. Adjournment
The City of Westminster Public Safety Committee meeting of January 5, 2023, adjourned at
9:00 a.m.
