The Council may vote to enter into a closed session in accordance with the Maryland Open Meetings Act, General
Provisions Article § 3-305(b), to discuss any matter permitted to be discussed in closed sessions under the Act,
including, but not limited to , such as personnel issues, legal advice, pending litigation, or the acquisition of real
property. If a closed session is held, the Council will announce the specific statutory authority and topics prior to the
session as required.
