a. CA-00563- 626 N. Broad St.- Window Trim and Shingle Color – Andrew
provided background on the property following a post-frame inspection. He
noted two discrepancies from the Commission's original approval: the shingle
color did not match, and window trim had not yet been installed. Josh Debolt,
contractor, clarified that the colonial-style trim installation is pending warmer
weather. Regarding the shingles, he explained they chose "Oakridge/Driftwood"
(charcoal gray) to better match neighboring homes, rather than the approved
charcoal black. Charles Williams stated a total of 2500 sq. ft. of shingles will
be installed. Matt Brady made a motion to approve the shingle color change. Joyce
Harvey seconded the motion. The motion was granted unanimously.
VI. Administrative Approvals – Approved an all-white vinyl sign for the Flower Shop on S.

Old Business –

a. CA-00552 - 955 Lincoln Ave. – Demolition and Parking – Application still tabled
per request of the applicant until exterior drawings are completed.
b. CA-00558 – 214/216 S. Columbus St. – Window Replacement – Andrew Mott
presented the application for discussion. Bryan clarified that the current
submission lacks sufficient detail for approval. According to Mr. Mott,
contractors have determined the existing wood windows are rotten and require
replacement. While he intends to maintain the original look, he proposed
replacing the wood with vinyl. Bryan noted that the Commission requires
specific window model and a cost-comparison between repairing the original
wood versus installing substitute materials. At the applicant's request, the
application remains tabled.
