Paula Carson, Chairman *a) Discussion/For Possible Action: Approval to send two people to represent White Pine County at the Nevada State Fair from June 11- 13, 2026. This was discussed at the last NACO meeting and provides each county with an opportunity to showcase their county. The budget would come from Economic Development B. ELECTED OFFICIALS 1. District Court Judge Dylan Frehner *a) Discussion/For Possible Action: Approval of an MOU between White Pine County, White Pine County Clerk, and the Seventh Judicial District Court regarding designation of Court Administrator as Clerk of the Court, division of Deputy Clerks between White Pine County Clerk and the Seventh Judicial District Court, and administrative services for the Deputy Court Clerks of the Seventh Judicial District Court *b) Discussion/For Possible Action: Approval for the County Clerk to move the Clerk’s Office back to her old office at the Historic Courthouse on the first floor 2. Melissa Brown, District Attorney *a) Discussion/For Possible Action: Ratification of the authorization by Social Services Department Head Desiree Barnson and Road Department Head Martin Troutt permitting County employees Naomi Harris and Lindsey Jacobsen, respectively, to assist the Finance Department with the administration of accounts payable functions beginning March 13, 2026. Such assistance shall be compensated in accordance with County Personnel Policies and the OE3 Collective Bargaining Agreement, including applicable overtime provisions. The employees’ assistance shall not interfere with their regular duties within their current OE3 job classifications. All compensation associated with this assistance shall be paid from the Finance Page | 3 [PAGE 4] Department budget. Performance related to this assistance shall not be used in any manner to negatively affect the employees’ evaluations or standing within their OE3 job classifications. Both employees have volunteered to provide this assistance, notified their OE3 representative, and received initial training from Interim Finance Director/Comptroller Gina Rackley on March 13, 2026. This authorization will remain in effect until the Finance (Accounts Payable) Clerk vacancy is filled and an orderly transition ensuring continuity of accounts payable operations has been completed to the satisfaction of Gina Rackley, the secondary signatories, and/or the Department of Taxation. Ratification is required to “backfill” the current Finance (Accounts Payable) Clerk vacancy and to support Gina Rackley and the secondary signatories in meeting the County’s financial obligations *b) Discussion/For Possible Action: Ratification of BOCC Chair Carson’s March 12, 2026 directive authorizing IT Director Jasen Hutchens to grant County employees Naomi Harris and Lindsey Jacobsen the necessary access to all County Tyler Financial Systems required for receiving, accessing, reviewing, processing, paying, distributing, and otherwise administering the County’s accounts payable. This authorization will remain in effect until the Finance (Accounts Payable) Clerk vacancy is filled and an orderly transition ensuring continuity of accounts payable operations has been completed to the satisfaction of Interim Finance Director/Comptroller Gina Rackley, the secondary signatories, and/or the Department of Taxation.
