How to Participate in Public Meetings
Find all the information you need to participate in and stay updated on upcoming City Council, City Boards, Commissions, and Committees meetings.
Review Public Meeting Agendas
- To access public meeting agendas, simply visit the Agenda Center web page where you will find a list of public meeting bodies. Agendas for regular meetings are posted within 72 hours. To view the topics to be discussed and instructions for joining the meeting, open the desire.
- Visit the Meeting Calendar to view upcoming public meetings.
Live Public Meeting Comments
- Attend the meeting in person and complete a speaker card to share a public comment.
Virtual Public Meeting Comments
- On the front page of each public meeting agenda, there will be a URL meeting link and instructions on how to join the meeting for any public meeting that offers a virtual opportunity to participate. If you want to speak, inform the meeting host using the "Chat" feature.
Written Comments
- Visit the Public Comment web page to submit an online form.
- Send an email an email to City staff as indicated on the posted agenda by the time listed.
- For the City Council Meeting, send an email to the City Clerk's office at [email protected] by 3:00 p.m. the day of the meeting (or unless otherwise listed on the agenda). Please include the agenda item number (e.g., Item No. 8) in your subject line.
You are not required to provide your name or contact information to participate in a public meeting, but doing so will help City staff follow up with you regarding your item. Please note that all emails submitted to any legislative body are considered Public Records. Copies of the forms you submit will be posted online with your name and contact information removed. You are allowed to submit only one comment form per agenda item, but you may submit multiple forms per agenda to address additional topics.

- Zoom – Real-time translation is available during public meetings through Zoom closed captioning. For live streaming or archived videos, please visit the archive website.

Spanish Interpretation Services
Live two-way Spanish interpretation services are available for City Council meetings. No advanced requests for interpretation services are required. Interpretation services are available to those joining both virtually and in person. The City will utilize the WebEx Spanish audio channel for those joining remotely. For in-person attendees, headsets will be available upon entry into the City Council chambers.

Los servicios de interpretación bidireccional en español en vivo están disponibles para las reuniones del Concejo Municipal. No se requieren solicitudes anticipadas para utilizar los servicios de interpretación. Dichos servicios están disponibles tanto para quienes se unan de manera virtual como para aquellos que asistan en persona. Para quienes se conecten de forma remota, la Ciudad utiliza el canal de audio en español de WebEx.
- Notify Me allows web users to subscribe to email notifications from the Calendar, News Flash, Job Postings, Bid Postings, Alert Center, Agenda Center, and more.
- It sends subscribers notifications on any topic they choose through a customized email message. The email can be sent automatically or at a specific date and time. Web users can subscribe to receive email and/or text message updates from any list they choose.
