NOTICE will be held on the date stated above, at which time the following subjects will

This item is included to allow public comments on topics relating to the business of the county. In
accordance with law, this Court cannot discuss, deliberate or take action on any item or topic not
listed on this agenda. Public comments requesting or requiring action or deliberation may be
scheduled on a future agenda. Each public comment will be limited to a maximum of 3 minutes,
unless a member of the Court requests additional time for the presenter. Any handout materials must
be reproduced prior to the meeting and furnished by the presenter. After the close of this portion
of the Agenda, public comment for the remainder of the Court session is no longer
appropriate or accepted unless specifically requested by a Member of the Court.

NEW BUSINESS - CONSENT AGENDA

1. APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: December 9, 2025 (Regular Session)
2. APPROVE SCHEDULES OF BILLS.
3. APPROVE ORDER DESIGNATING SURPLUS PROPERTY.
4. RECEIVE COUNTY AUDITOR’S MONTHLY REPORT, PURSUANT TO LOCAL
GOVERNMENT CODE SEC. 114.025.
5. RECEIVE AND RECORD PERSONNEL ACTION FORMS SUBMITTED BY ELECTED
OFFICIALS SINCE LAST MEETING.

6. ACCEPT TOTAL LOSS OFFER FOR 2008 CHEVROLET SILVERADO.
7. APPROVE ENGAGEMENT LETTER WITH CARR, RIGGS & INGRAM (CRI) FOR
FY2025 JAIL COMMISSARY AUDIT.
8. APPROVE AGREEMENT WITH DRG ARCHITECTS FOR FEASIBILITY STUDY IN
THE AMOUNT OF $20,000.
9. APPROVE RESOLUTION FOR ADULT SEXUAL ASSAULT RESPONSE TEAM
RESTRUCTURING.
10. APPROVE RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING A CHANGE IN POLK COUNTY'S
CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT.
11. RESCIND THE AWARD DETERMINATION TO DILLON AIR CONDITIONING &
HEATING FOR THE HVAC AND DUCT REPLACEMENT PROJECT AT THE
PRECINCT 3 SUBCOURTHOUSE DUE TO REVISED PROJECT SCOPE.
NEW BUSINESS - REGULAR AGENDA
12. DISCUSS AND CONSIDER APPROVAL OF PERSONNEL MATTERS, AS FOLLOWS:
A. PERSONNEL ACTION FORM REQUESTS SUBMITTED BY DEPARTMENT
HEADS SINCE LAST MEETING AND REVIEW OF ANY AUTHORIZED
EMERGENCY HIRING.
B. REQUEST FROM JUSTICE OF THE PEACE, PCT. 4 TO USE DISCRETIONARY
FUNDS FOR ONE-TIME BONUSES.
C. CONSIDER APPROVAL TO PAY OUT REQUESTED FLSA TIME FOR SHERIFF
STAFF AND REQUESTED FLSA AND HOLIDAY TIME FOR JAIL STAFF.
D. REVISE THE COUNTY HOLIDAY POLICY TO ESTABLISH A CAP ON ACCRUED
HOLIDAY HOURS AND REMOVE THE EXPIRATION DATE.
13. CONSIDER REQUESTS FOR REVISIONS AND AMENDMENTS TO THE BUDGET, AS
FOLLOWS:
A. FY2025 BUDGET REVISIONS AND FY2026 BUDGET REVISIONS &
AMENDMENTS, AS PRESENTED BY THE COUNTY AUDITOR’S OFFICE.
14. CONSIDER APPROVAL OF INDEPENDENT CONTRACT ATTORNEY AGREEMENT
FOR PROSECUTORIAL SERVICES, TO BE FUNDED WITH UNUSED DISTRICT
ATTORNEY SALARIES.
