THEREFORE, ITISORDEREDby theCommissionersCourt ofPolk County,Texas thattheOrderProhibitingOutdoorBumingisherebyRESCINDED andtheprohibitiononoutdoor burning intheunincorporated areasoftheCountyisnolonger ineffectasofOctober31,2025 at 10:30 a.m. BE IT FURTHER ORDERED that the Commissioners Court and Office of Emergency Management urge allpersons tousecaution inproceedingwithanyoutdoorbuming, being mindful that conditions currently present in Polk County may change quickly and that individuals bumingoutdoors are responsible and liable foranyfire damage resulting from such buming. In addition, the Office of Emergency Management suggests that any persons contemplating theoutdoorbumingofasizeable amount ofdebris firstcontact theVolunteer Fire Departmentintheirareatoreceivethe Department'srecommendations and/orassistance.
