Call to Order
1. Roll Call
The City Council of Newton, Iowa met in special session at 1: 00 P.M. on the above
date in the Council Chambers at 101 West 4th Street South. Mayor Ervin
presided. Present Council Members: Mills, Roth (via telephone), Hallam, Simbro ( via
telephone). Absent: Dalton, Holschuh.
Consent Agenda
Moved by Hallam, seconded by Mills to approve consent agenda item
2. AYES: Four. NAYS: None. Consent Agenda was adopted.
2. Approve a new liquor license for Murph& Mary's, 403 W4th St N, Ste 104, Class C Retail
Alcohol License pending state and local approval
Adjourn
Moved by Hallam, seconded by Mills to adjourn the meeting at 1: 02 P.M. Motion unanimously
carried by voice vote.
