a. Consideration of a resolution authorizing the execution of a Developer Agreement with the
West Hennepin Affordable Housing Land Trust, dba Homes Within Reach, for the acquisition,
rehabilitation and sale of houses under the New Home Program.
Julie presented item 10a and reviewed HRAs New Home Program, and noted partnerships,
available funds through WHALT, additional funding, and community development block grant
funding.

11. Other Business
a. Consideration of a resolution authorizing the Executive Director to execute a Contract for

Demolition with Harkness Excavating for the demolition of 6804 14th Avenue South.
Julie presented item 11a and reviewed HRA acquired property at 6804 14th Avenue; intent of
preparing site for future redevelopment through Rediscovered Program. Julie reviewed costs
of destruction and demolish of property of $59,530 with a grant from Hennepin County
reducing cost to $41,530; bid for demolition is $22,304.

Sean asked question regarding property. Urban noted some timber can be salvaged, but not
much else and is a challenging property.
Gorden noted priority of RRP; Staff and HRA reviewed demolition of property is a case by case
basis.
