I. Call to Order
Mayor Kownick called the meeting to order at 6:09 p.m.
II. Roll Call
The roll was called and all were present.
III. Pledge of Allegiance
Mayor Kownick led in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance.
IV. Public Comments
There being no comments, Mayor Kownick closed Public Comments at 6:10 p.m.
V. Discussion Items
A. Discussion Regarding the Private Use of Public Right-of-Way for Outdoor Dining
Assistant Administrator Radcliffe provided background on previous discussions
regarding private use of the public right-of-way for outdoor dining.
Director Simmons provided an overview of proposed recommendations for private
use of the public right-of-way outdoor dining.
Trustee Prusina asked Director Simmons if the Village would allow a hard surface
to be constructed in the public right-of-way for a business to place picnic tables for
patrons.
Director Simmons stated the Village generally does not permit a structure to be
built in the public right-of-way unless an agreement is in place.
