8. EXECUTION OF INTERGOVERNMENTAL SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH JRTC-FT. POLK for the
Fort Polk Vegetation Contract.
9. ORDINANCES:
A. INTRODUCTION OF ORDINANCE 2 OF 2026 to amend Section 50-150 - Drinking of alcoholic
beverages on streets, sidewalks or other public properties prohibited and to repeal any all
ordinances and parts thereof in conflict herewith. Public hearing will be March 23, 2026. Public
Comments?
10. RESOLUTIONS:
A. RESOLUTION to authorize the mayor to sign and execute an Intergovernmental Service
Agreement (IGSA) with the State of LA Department of Health & Office of Citizens with
Developmental Disabilities (LDH/OCDD) for vegetation control and litter pick up for the LA State
School effective March 1, 2026 through April 30, 2027. Public Comments?
B. RESOLUTION to authorize the City to advertise for bids for Phase II Project at the Leesville Rec
Complex. Public Comments?
C. RESOLUTION to authorize the City to advertise for bids to clear 34.78 acres of land locate at HM
Stevens Blvd. and Nolan Trace (Hwy 8). Public Comments?
D. RESOLUTION to authorize the City to solicit bids for the demolition and removal of blighted and
hazardous structures located within the city limits. Public Comments?
E. RESOLUTION to authorize the City to solicit for bids to purchase two (2) trucks for the sewer and
water department of public works. Public Comments?
F. RESOLUTION to authorize the City of Leesville to enter into contract with Top Notch Lawn and
Land Care LLC to provide grass cutting services for the Fort Johnson Vegetation Contract;
authorize the Mayor to sign and execute said contract; and provide for all other matters related
herewith. Public Comments?
G. RESOLUTION to authorize the City to enter into a cooperative endeavor agreement with Rapides
Area Planning and Commission; authorize the Mayor to sign and execute said agreement; and
provide for all other matters related hereto. Public Comments?
