City of Atmore Special Meeting January 28, 2022 The Mayor and Council of Atmore met in a special called meeting on January 28, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the City Hall with the following members present: Jerome Webster, Eunice Johnson, Shawn Lassiter, and Chris Harrison. Webb Nall was at a doctor's appointment. A quorum being present, Mayor Staff called the meeting to order. Councilmember Johnson led in prayer followed by the pledge of allegiance. Resolution 2022-03 – This resolution authorizes the City to enter into an agreement with the State of Alabama through the Alabama Department of Transportation relating to a project for intersection improvements on SR-21 at Poarch Road East, including the addition of a right turn lane on SR-21 North, the addition of a left turn lane on SR-21 South, and modifying the existing traffic signal. A motion was made by Jerome Webster and seconded by Eunice Johnson to suspend the rules and regulations for immediate consideration of Resolution 2022-03. The following vote was recorded: Webb Nall Absent Jerome Webster Aye Eunice Johnson Aye Shawn Lassiter Aye Chris Harrison Aye The motion was approved. A motion was made by Chris Harrison and seconded by Shawn Lassiter to approve Resolution 2022-03.
