• Public Hearings: Public comment will be accepted in written format in advance of the
meeting or by verbal testimony (when appropriate) at the meeting. Written comment
may be submitted via USPS at 403 South 7th Street, Suite 210, Denton, MD 21629
or emailed to gboags@carolinemd.org. Written comments received by the close of
business the Friday prior to a meeting will be entered into the record and made
available to the Board members prior to the meeting or hearing.
• All speakers, including Board and staff members, must announce their name each
time before they speak. This means before asking a question or making a statement,
the person must state their last name.
Meetings are conducted in Open Session unless otherwise indicated. All or part of the
meetings can be held in closed session under the authority of the state open meetings law
by vote of the Board members. Breaks are at the call of the Board’s Chairman. Please note
that the order of agenda items may change as time dictates or allows.
