Transportation Committee Meeting
November 20th, 2025
The meeting was called to order by chairwoman Pam Alonso.
Present were Councilman Brian Hillensbeck, Councilman Dennis Cullen, Councilman Brett Arceneaux,
Councilman Todd Varnado and chairwoman Pam Alonso
The Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilman Brett Arceneaux
Public Comment – No one signed up to speak
A. Transportation Department update PowerPoint Presentation
Department Report (Daniel Helms) – Daniel Helms presented a power point and gave updates on
existing and upcoming projects, and no action was taken on this item
B. Approval of Resolution to adopt the inventory and proposed priorities for Capital Road
improvements in accordance with the Unitary Plan of Operations for selection of Parish roads
for new construction and maintenance for the Parish Road System for 2026, 2027, 2028.
A Motion by Councilman Hillensbeck and Second by Councilman Varnado and this item passed
unanimously
