Subject: Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Leesburg, Florida
appointing Residential members to the Leesburg Electric Advisory
Board; and providing an effective date.
Staff Recommendation:
Select residential members to serve on the Electric Advisory Board.
Analysis:
In 2017, the City Commission adopted ordinance 17-02, which created an Electric Advisory Board.
Section 2-153 of the Code of Ordinances contemplates the composition of the 5-member; 2-year
staggering term body. The composition of the Board creates a cross-section of the Leesburg Electric
customer base to create representation in operations and rate making recommendations.
The Commission should appoint one member to each Board classification as follows:
Terms to expire December 31, 2027.
Leesburg Residential Customer
Lake County (unincorporated) Residential Customer
AND
Fruitland Park Residential Customer
Applications were received from the following and are attached for review.

ELECTRIC ADVISORY BOARD; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LEESBURG, FLORIDA:
