RESOLUTION NO. 2025-______
MILLAGE RATE - FY 2025-26
A RESOLUTION of the Board of County Commissioners of Jackson County, Florida, adopting the
Final Levying of Ad Valorem Taxes for Jackson County for Fiscal Year 2025-26 providing for an effective
date.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Jackson County, Florida, on September 9,
2025, at 5:01 P.M., adopted Fiscal Year 2025-26 Tentative Millage Rates following a public hearing as
required by Florida Statute No. 200.065; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Jackson County, Florida, held a public
hearing as required by Florida Statute No. 200.065; and
WHEREAS, the gross taxable value for operating purposes not exempt from taxation within
Jackson County has been certified by the County Property Appraiser to the Board of County
Commissioners of Jackson County as $2,355,349,639.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Jackson
County, Florida, that:
1. The Fiscal Year 2025-26 operating millage rate is 7.9450 mills which is greater than the
rolled–back rate of 7.7982 mills by 1.88%.
2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
DULY ADOPTED at a public hearing this 9th day of September, 2025.

BUDGET - FY 2025-26
A RESOLUTION of the Board of County Commissioners of Jackson County, Florida, adopting the
Final Budget for Fiscal Year 2025-26; providing for an effective date.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Jackson County, Florida, on September 9,
2025 at 5:01 P.M., held a public hearing, as required by Florida Statutes No. 200.065; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Jackson County, Florida, set forth the
appropriations and revenue estimate for the Budget for Fiscal Year 2025-26 in the amount of One
Hundred Twenty-Six Million, Six Hundred and Seventeen Thousand, One Hundred and Ninety-Three
Dollars, ($126,617,193), and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Jackson
County, Florida, that:
1. The Fiscal Year 2025-26 Final Budget be adopted.
2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
DULY ADOPTED at a public hearing this 9th day of September, 2025.
